Project Overview

The web platform is where the Caiz ecosystem is bought into and governed: converting fiat to crypto, managing holdings, completing identity verification, and administering the users and roles behind it.

Two constraints shaped it. The product operates under EU AML and KYC obligations, and it operates on Islamic finance principles — meaning the vocabulary most crypto interfaces rely on, built around yield, returns and speculation, is unavailable here. Trust had to be established through transparency and compliance rather than through promised upside.

Project Highlights

Verification framed as credibility, not friction. KYC is where most crypto products lose people. Document and video verification run as parallel paths, each stating its requirements up front, with progress shown through named stages instead of an opaque wait — turning a regulatory obligation into the moment the platform proves it’s legitimate.

Full cost visible before commitment. Exchange rate, platform fee, network fee and total appear in one view before payment. In a product built on interest-free principles, ambiguous cost doesn’t just read as poor UX — it contradicts the premise.

Familiar rails into an unfamiliar asset. Purchase runs through Stripe, and standard card entry, so a first-time buyer’s first interaction is one they already understand rather than a wallet-address problem.

Governance inside the product. Role assignment, a per-role permission matrix, registered-user analytics and a KYC review queue in one console, so compliance operations happen in the platform rather than around it.

One system across the ecosystem. Shared components and patterns so wallet, purchase, verification, admin and mobile read as a single product despite serving very different users.
